Work it out Wednesdays – Introducing Trina Kincey a Certified Health Coach!

As you know, not only do we strive to assist you with your Wedding & Event Planning, but we also have a passion for Fitness and a Healthy lifestyle.  I recently “virtually” met Trina Kincey, a Certified Health Coach, and I was inspired to introduce her to you!  Below is a brief interview I gave her where she explains a little bit about herself and what she can do for you on your journey to Healthy Living.

“My name is Trina Kincey, Certified Health Coach and Owner of Get Real Wellness. I am the lucky mother of a beautiful 4 year-old girl, wife to a wonderful husband and I have a passion for sharing health & happiness with those around me. Through my own struggles in dealing with my family’s poor health, I discovered that good food really is the best medicine!  I specialize in using proper nutrition for weight loss, boosting energy, improving skin issues and stress reduction.  I offer special programs that will allow you to lose significant amounts of weight in a short period of time by using the proper nutrition for your body.”

Get Real Wellness was founded in Riverdale, NJ in 2013.  I received my nutritional training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods.  Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.”

1. Please tell us about your business and how you got started as a Certified Health Coach.

“My daughter frequently suffered with health issues as a baby. Doctors were unable to determine the cause of her frequent illnesses.  After visiting many specialists and finding no answers, I decided to take matters into my own hands and see if I could improve her health by attending Nutrition school and changing her diet.  I am happy to say, she is now a healthy, happy little girl!”

2. How did you come up with your company name?

Get Real Wellness seemed natural to me. I work with real people, use real food and get REAL results!”

3. What’s your favorite part of the entire Healthy Lifestyle?

“I love having the energy I need to keep up with my busy lifestyle. There is no better feeling than waking up feeling amazing and ready to start my day with a smile!” 

4. If you could give only one piece of advice to a bride/groom, what would that be?

“Make sure you are cherishing every moment of your time together, and don’t get too caught up in the details. Take good care of yourselves and each other.”

5. What are some trends you’re seeing this year?

“I am finding a lot of my clients are benefiting from my nutritional cleansing programs, which balance their bodies and help them lose weight, build lean muscle and boost their energy.” 

6. What’s the most eccentric or strange request you have ever received from a client?

“I had a client request that I come to their home and raid their pantry and bring them all new groceries!” 

7. What are your top tips for clients watching their budgets closely?

“Cook more meals at home. So many people spend large amounts of money eating out (the average American eats out 4-5 times a week). Cooking healthy meals at home will help you save money AND get healthier!” 

8. What advice can you give Brides Or Grooms who are on the fence about hiring a Certified Health Coach during their wedding planning process?

“Picture your wedding photos and how you want to look in them.  I’m sure you want to look your best, feel your best and have amazing photos that you will be proud to look at for the rest of your lives together.  I can help you achieve your health goals, including weight loss, improved skin, more energy and stress reduction so you can look and feel your absolute best on your special day.”

“I’m obsessed with helping others improve their health and lose weight because it makes me feel amazing to transform lives!” 

10. When you aren’t doing this, what are you doing?

“I love spending time with my 4 year-old daughter and my husband! I am also President of my local MOMS Club.” 

11. What is a random, interesting fact about you or your business?

“I can work with clients anywhere. I can work with people from all over the world whether it be in person, over the phone or via Skype. I love this flexibility because it allows me to help clients get healthier even when they have a busy schedule.”

  1. OMG!!! I need you guys in my life. When do we start, I need all the motivation and help I can get. I don’t want to be dieting once the spring starts, I just want to be healthy all year round.
